Sien Luyten has recently established Oraura, together with Roland Nobels with whom she has already worked for more than 10 years in the area of high growth technology based firms and venture capitalists. She has been the driving force behind the European Venture Contest from its inception.
Oraura focuses on the innovation challenge for large companies and ventures alike. Large corporates are increasingly pursuing multiple approaches to access external innovative talent, products, services and expertise. Innovative ventures face many obstacles on their path to prosperity like limited access to finance, management, marketing, manufacturing, sales- and distribution channels, things which are usually ready at hand with large corporates. Oraura is instrumental in matching both type of players and engaging them in a wider network with external financiers.
By launching industry specific “Innovation Challenges” where large corporates and ventures - and even well advanced research projects - can meet and co-develop business, innovations can be brought to market faster, to the greater benefit of all.
